DG18 Agar (Dichloran Glycerol Agar) with Chloramphenicol is for the isolation and cultivation of xerophilic fungi according to ISO 21527-2. The addition of chloramphenicol is added to inhibit bacterial growth, particularly that of Gram-negative bacteria.
